I just had a meeting with your lawyer. He's perfectly nice but if I never have to speak to him again about my sex life, I'll be very happy.
Basically, I have to stay away from you until the tour is over. That's when my contract ends and I'm no longer officially your healer. For the next tour - assuming Mr. Chittock agrees to it - I'll officially be the healer for the other seven but not you. I'm not sure if that will happen, because I'm sure it's a pain for them to have to come up with a solution just for one of you when they could simply get a new healer for the eight of you and be done with it. At least the tour only has another week to go?
Would you like to go out with me next week?

I just thought I should let you know what's going on so you don't think I'm doing the wrong thing by Gideon. The Weird Sisters lawyer has asked me to stay away from him until the tour is over and we'll figure out a solution for the next tour before it starts. So until next week I don't really have a choice anymore. But I've asked Gideon out for next week so you can stop worrying like I know you have been. |

So... I promised my brother that I'd keep my distance from you until I decide whether this is serious or not, because if it is serious, then I'll have to tell my parents and get disowned just like he did, and I'm not sure if I can do that.
There's something here though, between you and me, right? I'm not just imagining that?
And it occurs to me that you have a girlfriend and for all I know you're serious about her and there really isn't any point to me making this decision right now.
Sorry, this really isn't the most articulate of journal entries. I suppose what I'm trying to say is please don't take it personally if I keep my distance from you for a while. It's pretty obvious that I'm attracted to you, and I need to think this through before it goes any further. I don't want to hurt you. That's the last thing I want to do. |

Did you enjoy your birthday? I didn't owl you a present, I know, and I hope you weren't disappointed by that. I'm sure you had enough to keep you occupied that day. I don't want to know the details. I was thinking about what to get you and I know you don't really care for things as such, so it occurred to me that my original idea is still sound, but with a little tweaking. So this is my present for you: a whole day just you and me in the city of your choice when we're touring Europe, on me. What do you think?

For those of you who might not have been looking in your journals when I first introduced myself, I am Cade Lloyd, your new healer. I'm Danny's older brother, and yes, we have some family issues to work out, which is mostly why I applied for this job, but I would appreciate it if you would stay out of it. I'm not about to involve myself in your family drama and I would appreciate it if you would show us the same courtesy.
That said, I know there is a lot being said about me and I would like to clarify any misinformation. If you are interested in hearing what I have to say - and will actually listen - then I am willing to tell you, either here or in person. Whatever works best for you. I am here to help you with anything you need regardless of any lifestyle choices you may make and anything you say to me will be covered by the strictest of confidences. If you can't trust me to do that, though, then we have a problem. |

Hello, everyone. Some of you met me earlier today but for those of you who weren't around, I'm Cade Lloyd, your new healer. Gerald gave me this journal so you can contact me when you need to or you can send an owl if it's more urgent. Are you likely to need a healer more quickly than an owl could reach me? If so, I will come up with a better way. Gerald mentioned that there is a bed on the crew bus so that is always an option if you would feel more comfortable having someone closer by. I suppose it really all comes down to what you feel the chances are of you requiring a healer at odd hours of the night. |
